A day out has been arranged to experience the beauty of choral evensong at either St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey or Southwark Cathedral (tbc.) and enjoy the splendour of the Christmas lights in our capital city.

About the event
Our coach will depart from The Barming Bull bus stop at 10.10am, Teston Village Hall at 10.20am and the Wateringbury Hotel bus stop at 10.30am.
Returning to the Villages about 9pm.
We shall begin with some of the best fish and chips, followed by cheesecake and a hot drink at Kennedy’s in Goswell Road.
The coach will collect us right outside for transfer to St Paul’s Cathedral for Choral Evensong at 3pm. Please note that it may be necessary to alter which Evensong we attend if the Abbey diary changes. The alternatives are Westminster Abbey and Southwark Cathedral. All venues are very impressive and you will be given notice of any changes.
Choral Evensong lasts for a blissful and music filled 45 minutes after which we return to the coach. At 4pm, as the sun sets on London, we will be dazzled by our iconic London landmarks and shop windows all dressed with glittering lights and the streets lined with sparkling festive joy, as twinkling fairy lights cover the city. We will see Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, The Strand and Aldwych, the modern beauty of the London Eye, Tower Bridge and the world-famous extravagant Regent Street lights. Throughout the tour we shall enjoy an entertaining and erudite commentary from the award-winning Blue Badge tour guide.
At 6pm we stop to enjoy the Christmas tree, the street performers, cafes and shops at Covent Garden before heading for home at 7.30pm.
