About the event
Escape across the Channel for a wonderfully relaxing afternoon on France's beautiful Opal Coast.
Our destination is the elegant seaside resort of Wimereux, just a short drive from Calais and one of northern France's best-kept secrets. Renowned for its colourful Belle Époque villas, charming Anglo-Norman architecture, sweeping sandy beach and iconic pastel-coloured beach huts.
Stroll along the attractive sea wall promenade, have an oyster (or six!), enjoy a coffee at a pavement café, or simply soak up the relaxed French atmosphere in a cosy bistro and admire the waves as you look out to sea.
A meal and a drink are included on board the ferry as we cross the English Channel.
We'll have free time to explore Wimereux at our own pace before returning to the ferry where another meal and a drink are included.
Plenty of time onboard to browse the duty-free shop offering up to 50% on high street retails prices on perfumes, cosmetics and alcohol; the perfect opportunity to pick up a few treats and souvenirs.

Our coach will depart from the Tonbridge Station bus stop Lidl side at 6.15am, Tonbridge Castle bus stop, High St. Tonbridge at 6.25am, Hadlow Road bus stop Orchard Drive side at 6.35am, Hadlow Square bus stop opposite car park at 6.45am, Wateringbury Hotel bus stop (opposite hotel) at 6.55am, Teston Crown City bus stop at 7am and the Barming Bull bus stop at 7.10am.
Returning to the villages about 9.30pm.

Travel by executive coach with on board washroom facilities with allocated coach seat if the coach is full
Return ferry crossing with DFDS Dover to Calais
A meal with a drink included on both ferry crossings
