A beautiful day out visiting two lovely venues and their gardens - Pashley Manor and Great Dixter House. Come and see the delightful dahlias display at Pashley Manor and immerse yourself in the rich and bold gardens of Great Dixter House. Bliss!

About the event
As summer turns to autumn the gardens at Pashley, on the border of Sussex and Kent, are ablaze with colour, provided by hundreds of dazzling dahlias, during the Dahlia Days event. Over 70 varieties of this diverse perennial are planted throughout the garden; pinks in the Rose Garden, sunny yellows in the Golden Beds, whites in the Elizabethan Garden, purples in the Pool Garden and more.
There is a café, with terrace, which serves locally sourced and homemade cakes, scones and light lunches; a picnic area facing the house in the parking field, a shop with gorgeous gifts, souvenirs and plants, and exhibitions of garden sculpture and floral art. After a morning at Pashley Manor exploring some of its 11 acres, we shall head to Great Dixter House in Northiam near Rye.
Great Dixter House and Gardens offer a vibrant, daring, and immersive garden with a 15th century house restored by Sir Edwin Lutyens. It leads the way in ornamental gardening, gardening for biodiversity, and horticultural education. Created by the great gardener and garden writer Christopher Lloyd, OBE, VMH.
It also has a small café selling home-cooked local produce and delicious cakes.
*Please be aware that there are small and narrow paths at Great Dixter making parts of the gardens unsuitable for wheelchair or rollator users.

Our coach will depart from The Barming Bull bus stop at 9am, Teston bus stop (opp. Crown City) at 9.05am, Wateringbury Hotel bus stop at 9.10am, Hadlow Square bus stop at 9.20am, Orchard Drive junction bus stop at 9.30am, Rose and Crown bus stop at 9.40am and Tonbridge Station at 9.45am
Returning to the Villages about 5.30pm.
