About the event
The festival is regarded as one of the top tulip displays in Europe and is set against the breath-taking backdrop of the Castle. A sea of colour awaits as the festival showcases over 120 different named tulips. 122,175 bulbs have been planted to create a stunning display of colour and beauty as the bulbs burst into bloom.
There is a café and a tea room on site or you are welcome to bring a picnic. There is time to visit the picturesque market town of Arundel, perhaps to shop at the independent boutiques, antique markets and art galleries or eat out overlooking the River Arun in one of Arundel’s pretty waterside pubs, cafés and restaurants.
Our coach will depart from The Barming Bull bus stop at 8.30am, Teston bus stop (opposite Crown City) at 8.35am and Wateringbury Hotel bus stop at 8.40am, Hadlow Square at 8.50am, Orchard Drive at 9am, Rose and Crown at 9.10am and Tonbridge Station at 9.20am.
Returning to the Villages about 6pm.
